I have a deep love for digital media. Though I’ll always have a soft spot for print, I’ve fully embraced the exciting new technology that will likely dictate most of my career.

More than a year ago, I joined the team at Silicon Prairie News—a new media company covering tech and entrepreneurship in the Midwest—as the Iowa editor.

During my college career, the scope and topic of my online writing was varied. I wrote online content for Drake University’s student-run magazine, Drake Mag. I also blogged, among other things, for the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, an Iowa-based non-profit focused on preserving Iowa’s natural beauty for generations to come. Or peruse a number of recent articles I wrote for Eyes on Iowa, a digital media site produced by Drake University students, about the future of wind energy in Iowamyths about wind energy and how wind turbines operate.

I first began by writing online about traveling during my Siesta Semester in Barcelona, and now continue to write about creative and crafty DIY projects.
