I’ve always had a tremendous love for the written word. Before I even learned how to write, I would dictate whimsical tales to my parents and illustrate my own storybooks.

Now that my writing skills have progressed past crayons and construction paper, I’ve worked as a contributing writer for Drake University’s newspaper, the Times Delphic, the student-run Drake Magazine and the DuPage County branch of suburban Chicago’s Daily Herald¬†- to name a few.¬†Last year I even worked as an intern at BCN MES, a monthly cultural newspaper based in Barcelona, Spain published in English, Spanish and Catalan.

Over the last few years, I’ve fallen hard for online media. I tweet, I pin and I check in on a continuous basis. Though I blog recreationally, you can find my writing on a number of publications and sites across the web, including Drake Magazine, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and Silicon Prairie News.
